Farmside is our broadband provider and since 2023 they’ve made it their business to champion a connected rural life, because they believe that being out there doing what you love shouldn’t mean being out of touch.
Based out of the agricultural service town of Timaru, rural runs in their veins. They understand the challenge of isolation and are genuinely invested and passionate about connecting rural Aotearoa to what matters to them – opening up to the world and helping you get more from the life you love on the land.
Manawatū rewards those who follow their nose and get off the beaten track to find hidden gems. World-class coffee roasters, boutique breweries, and cuisine with a focus on provenance and the food story will ensure your journey is one of discovery and delight. With a world class mountain bike park, and an array of hikes through our bush-clad mountain ranges, Manawatū is peppered with a high calibre of kiwi hospitality from farm stays and riverside lodges to glamping and bespoke homestays. Pizzas are hand stretched and cooked in a wood fired oven and burgers are pressed in-house, with a kitchen that is constantly innovating new and refreshing dishes. So, go in, grab a beverage and a bite to eat, mingle and enjoy.

CD Field Days is proud to partner with the Manawatu-Rangitikei Rural Family Support Trust which was established to support farming families when times on the farm or within the family are tough. This can include personal mental well-being, family relationships, farming difficulties, employment relationships, animal welfare concerns, financial difficulties and adverse climatic events and biosecurity incursions.
The Trust is there to help farming families and their community to recover from these challenges and build personal resilience. We believe that’s a cause worth supporting.
